I just returned to the states several days ago but my main girl sent me this news. 35 year old tourist shot and killed outside Taormina according to the translation. Anyone else have more information? This generally doesn’t happen.

Edit: might not be a tourist. Might be some local tico who owed money.

A tourist? The article (and video) just mention a 35-year old male victim. No mention of whether he was (or not) a tourist.

Holy Shit Week!

19 shots fired. Victim was hit in the face, chest and abdomen. That leaves up to 16 other bullets flying around looking for a bystander. Taormina has virtually no handle on the drugs flowing in and out of the place. Good party though.

That really sucks. Is why I mainly lay low in the evenings only venturing out at night to the mid to upper tier regular bar/restaurants via Uber or trusted taxi or staying within safe confines of low key Amistad/Marshal steakhouse then hunt hunt hunt during the daytime to the many mini-brothels perhaps scoring chicas to come visit me at night.

Or making an afternoon bombing run to Del Rey to see if any possibilities. Would go to Tao also but only in the day now after reading about this.

Tao bars fun and all but now after reading this proly not staying there. Not scared of getting shot up in my room or inside hotel but just the possibility of being locked down in my room in the event another event occurs.

My next 8 days glorious trip quickly approaching I will:

1. Perform daytime mini brothel excursions some off the beaten track.

2. Del Rey, Tao, SM's L, Castillo "site" visits/inspections.

3. Perhaps Alcazar at night with wings.

4. Proly avoid Jaco to control my monger budget.

Enjoy that steak at non-existent Marshals on your way to the non-existent Del Rey. Bring a good book for those lonely evenings in your room.

Yep, last I h'erd Miss Kitty parted company wit Marshall Matt 'Kink' Dillon. In fact, I believe the only grub a Festus can wrange is breakfast. Best to check with the hotel though.

One of the articles I read on line said it was a Tico Cab Driver last name Forseco (SP?)
It also said he transported ladies from spot to spot and was know to deliver pharmaceutical's.

How accurate is the info , don't know. Bullets flying around is a concern.

Depends on what you mean by 'pro'. If you have ever fired an automatic you know that it spews out rounds in excess of 10 per second, but uncontrollably. Even on 3-shot 'burst' mode, the shots will 'walk up'. That might explain the abdominal, chest, head hits. Assuming a 30-shot clip, an additional 11 rounds would have sailed over San Jose in those 3 seconds.

two dudes both firing their 9s simultaneously, with extended clips, would be able to pumped out 20 to 30 rounds in a matter of 5 - 10 seconds. I wounder if it was one of the young guys that drops off multiply girls around the various venues in Barrio Amon. No doubt some body was pissed.
