I found out from reading different forums that this is a popular way for US citizens to live in CR.Would like to know from someone here who have done this or know of someone who has if it is as trouble free as reported?

Also if possible is the language barrier-i speak no Spanish ,be a problem?As a reference,i go to Montreal which is just a few hours drive from NYC to monger which English is not the primary language and is most of the time not a problem unless the further i go away from the city especially going east,also no road signs or messages in English,ditto in France.There has been times when i was not treated well i believe because of the language issue in France and Quebec.I could not find any comments on this related to CR like i did from tourists in France and Quebec.

Lastly,i,ll admit the primary reason for wanting to live there is to monger without fear of running into a vice sting operation which is increasingly popular here.People coould care less in Canada what about CR?I have read i,ll be one of many who,s moving for that reason!
