From the English translation on AM Costa Rica of La Nacions article about the rise of the dollar:

The price of the dollar rose yesterday in both the wholesale market (Monex) and locally in Costa Rica, which is a behavior observed since last week. On Tuesday, the Banco de Costa Rica sales price rose to Â¢ 517 per dollar and the National Bank offered Â¢ 519. Note: The buy rate paid to convert dollars to colones is currently Â¢507 at the Banco de Costa Rica.
