I tried it when I was down in Jaco in December. Plenty of ladies show up, just don't expect quick responses unless it's come more to the front of the biz in the past 9 months. I was there 5 nights and the only match I got didn't register in the Tinder system until I was back in the states. The requirement for both parties to swipe like to be able to initiate contact makes it useless for trips shorter than a couple of weeks. Now if you want to pay their stupid premium fee to be ignored by attractive women at home and abroad, you can start swiping in CR weeks before your trip to get some girls hopefully lined up. |

in addition to Tinder, you can also try Badoo. that has been good the last few months. remember they are both location based, so once you return to US it will still show your matches, but all new ones will be near you. i turn my location off before heading back to the states. |

I've used the Tinder in Costa Rica. I got 8 matches while I was in San Jose and met 2 good ticas, not working girls. But I didn't go to establish a relationship so that turns them off. If they also find out you are on vacation, that will turn them on. I think all good ticas just want boyfriends and not "just" friends. But its a good app to use. Just keep your profile in Spanish, good pictures and hopefully you are on young side and you'll get matches. Good Luck. |

How about LatinaCupid.com? Has anyone ever had any luck with that. I tried it once for 90 days. Got lots of "interest" but 90% of them wanted me to "Whatsapp" them and I'm apprehensive about that. |

I've used Tinder (successfully) and Badoo. My profile says I'm a generous man that likes girls who like fun. With Badoo I've gotten a lot of very interested Ticas that really want to meet me, but I haven't been able to follow up due to timing. Tinder - I met a real nice girl, had a drink and we're Phuck buddies. Hints - on Badoo if they say they are there for a date with a guy "25-75" that's a clue. On Tinder, if there is a "$" icon, that's a clue. Some say something in their profile like "escort" (duh) or "I like to shop and to please those that please me" etc. But since I spend most of my time with the OIJ's most wanted, mi novia La Passionara, when I'm in SJ, time management is an issue. |

Tinder works pretty killer but yes they do take a while sometimes to match or respond. The trick is that they sell a upgraded tinder subscription for $3 a month that lets you shop in any region of the world. I defeinatwly suggest that you do that a week or more ahead of your trip. |
