In my quest to learn this beautiful language I have been relying on new friends and communications with some willing Chica's. Speaking and understanding the language is one thing but found typing certain Spanish character was difficult at best. This is especially true when some translation platforms. I found the following way to adapt my computer keyboard so that it's now relatively painless to generate the following special charters necessary for the properly typed Spanish translation.... The following solution will work with a window 7 / 8 or tablet platform. I'm not familiar with the apple platforms but I'm sure the approach is similar. The ASCII templet below should work with either apple or Microsoft.

To modify your keyboard

Setting Up An Int'l Keyboard in 7 or 8

1) Click START button and Open the Control Panel
2) Double Click Clock, Regional and Language Button to open that window

3) Under Languages tab highlight and click on the Change Keyboard or other input method
4) Click change keyboard tab button

A drop down window will appear tell you what you keyboard language option are. Your default language is probably set to English United States) Keyboard. Within the Installed Services box, click on the Add button. Find and select the English - International and check the appropriate box.
You are done...!

You can use following templet as a cheat sheet until you memorize the characters you need to convert.
