Absolutely correct Lenny!! I also know many who live here who will swear they have never done such a thing (while arm in arm with the latest one!! )! Most of us have been "caught" more than once!! I know one, maybe two guys who live here who I believe really have never been "hooked" by one or more chicas. Even when he lives here it is doubtful she is being faithful. Hell I know one who even lives with the guy and she still sees a couple of her long time Gringo regulars when they are in town (she goes to see her family ) and also she sees the Tico father of her Ch*ld on a weekly basis!!! And Gringo she lives with does not know!!! Or chooses not to "know"!!

If you do not live here it is 99.999% for sure she is going to cheat on you when you is not here, and even knowing that, most who have been here more than 3-4 times have fallen into the "trap" because "MINE IS DIFFERENT" !

A long time exfavorita of mine has for years usually had at least one guy who lives here hooked and "helping" her out, and at the same time 2-3, sometimes 4, guys who live in the States sending her money. Hell for a while when I was seeing her she had one here who was giving her "cien" per visit twice a week and she had 3 guys sending her $500 a month each. All the while THIS old tightwad was giving her $60 per visit !!! But she did have the "best pu*sy" I had ever had; till I met her sister! Who by the way only needed 4 months of "working" to get visa, tickets, and money to visit the States for 2 years. Almost 4 years and she is still there!!

In reality, it's pretty unfair for a guy to expect a woman to remain faithful when they take maybe two or three trips a year (at most) to go see her. What is she supposed to do? Sit in her room lighting black candles and listening to Joy Division records the rest of the time?

I have a regular I see when I'm in Thailand. I like her a lot, but I paint no illusions in my head that she waits for me until I come back. Of course she sees other guys. She works the bar after all, and that is her avenue to a better life for her and her family. I'm OK with that. All I expect of her is to make smart and safe decisions regarding her sex life.

One thing I absolutely NEVER do is send money to a bar girl. Small gifts now and then when I'm with her in person are about as far as I go, and of course I pay her fees within reason. I don't want any woman, let alone a bar girl, to start seeing me as a walking, talking ATM. The last time I checked my birth certificate, it clearly confirmed that my parents had not christened me with the name, Captain Save-a-Ho. I want a woman (bar girl or otherwise) to view me as a guy she has a lot of fun with, and when it comes right down to it that's far more important than throwing excessive amounts of money at her anyway.

I like listening to Joy Division without the Black candles.
