Hi..Any place in Escazu that even remotely resemblers action at the Del Rey? I'm looking for a place with Ticas where I can watch the Costa Rica - Mexico soccer game next Friday evening. |

Nothing in Escazu resembles the Del Rey. Good news is the game will be on all over CR. I recommended you go to Sportsmans Lodge. 15-20 Minutes from Escazu and well worth the trip. |

Escazu has little to nothing in the way of MP's, Delrey style bars, etc - although it a nice place and has lots of res't and bars - its considered an upscale area. Oh....there are likely many "Ticas" throughout Escazu, as all the word means is Costa Rican female - its not another word for whore

Time Out tavern in escazu is no more. The boys just opened a new place in San Juan del sur Nicaragua called cha cha cha. |

Nice place at the Central Market, didn't know those guys were those guys. Did you get any FB from them or anyone why the bailed on CR? |

They had the fire which closed them down for awhile, then problems with permits, then the landlord jacked up the lease amount etc..... Their place in San Juan del sur seemed to be doing really well. Best of luck to them. |

If you want a decent bar in Escazu to enjoy a game, then try 9N Escazu. I have a cigar locker here and YES there are working gals normally during big games. |
