I can attest to the fact that you truly live by the words you write, amigo, quite different than many of the know-it-alls and hypocrites we find on this board, in CR and in life. Your camino was very unique and individual, not many could have done what you have done. I for sure would have bailed after the "looking evil in the eye" trial you experienced. But you didn't bail. You came back stronger and claimed that beautiful creature for your own, ran with it, and made it work. The board is legion with the Rolltide stories of failure but rarely do we acknowledge the success stories. Not as interesting to read are they...? Kudos to you LaD as one of the few who is winning at this game and finding your own path to your own happiness.
