PR, I have to admit that it is not just from the working girls. I have experienced and seen women turn into a scene out of the Exorcist in a split second. They go directly for the jugular and try to be as hurtful as possible.

I think it comes down to the class of people we're dealing with here. Personally, I don't think you would get this kind of reaction from a higher class Latina. But even though it was a Dominicana in this case, it could be any nationality of working girl - not excluding those "sweet paisas" so many here seem so enamored of...

When the working girls are speaking amongst themselves, but pointing or smiling at a gringo or even waving. 9 times out of 10... this is both the tone and content of their conversation.

As my spanish has improved 10-fold, I find this to be the norm, not the exception.

In a situation like these mention you must. you have to. without a doubt match the intensity of the confronter or you will lose face. dont try this in spanish because you will lose before you start. Just fight back in english. They can not handle it.

My ex wife would just lose it when I would not fight in spanish with her.

I would just say Phuck you! or kiss my ass! maybe throw in a go to hell!

I had one try to go off somewhat with a slur and a slight at the same time.

I told her in spanish that "It was all good because I still had money and would be using it later on one of her hotter friends"

Then I told her that "I was just visiting and would be going back to the land of Milk and Honey (USA) soon, but she would be stuck there broke as hell and looking for her next "Trick" the rest of her life!
