Every “novio” should see Appaloosa, the cowboy movie with Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen. Great movie and so many relevant similarities between “novios’ and “chicas”. Miss French plays the classical DR “chica” to a tee, always love you when you are there or whoever is the stallion of the herd (aka pays “cien”). “Virgil” is your classical gringo with a Savior syndrome that cannot dump his cheating “chica”. “Everett” the perfect wingmen.

I saw this movie yesterday and JOsie you were spot on. My esposa could not figure out why I was chuckling. I was laughing pretty hard when Virgil complains that his chica is sulking because he spends too much time working and is upset because he cannot decide on the curtains.
