I guess this is what they are called ? On my last 3 business trips to Costa Rica, my taxi drivers have started small talk about chicas and putas at the DR/BM. When I say I'm not really into putas, they have suggested an amiga(s) they know of that would like to spend the day/night with me. Dinner, a movie, the beach, whatever for @ $ 100.00 for 24 hours !
Anyone have any experience with a girl like this and who is not or does not look like a puta !

Girls like that are everywhere, even the Del Rey. These aren't full time hookers, just girls that need or want to make a few extra bucks, on occasion. Maybe rent or tuition is due. Also, just because this driver's amiga doesn't go to the del rey or dress like a hooker, doesn't mean she isn't a fulltime hoe. Many of the girls who work in the tico MPs would gladly take a day off of work to make an extra $100 (minus the driver's commision, of course).

Keep in mind that booking a girl for the whole day that you have never met or sessioned with before can cause problems. What if you find that you don't connect while at the beach? Also, be ready for her "emergency" where she has to leave early to take care of her sick bebe/mother/sister/cat etc. Of course she will still expect full payment.

You don't like "putas" but would consider a "puta" who happens to be an amiga of the taxi driver! Sorry "G", but if a chica is taking cash for phuckin' she's a working chica/hooker/puta/whore or whatever one chooses to call her. How often she engauges in hookin' is not what determines her "label" if you will. It may only determine how well she plays the game. The DR is FULL of chicas that don't look or act like "putas".

Yea... as I said and so did ID cash for sexo etc. is hookin'. Think of "pro" and "semi-pro" as to how well they play the game. That concept may have little to do with how often they "play". I define semi-pro as the ones that only do it part-time and are much less jaded. She may show up only at the end of the month when the rent's due, or only once/week to help with the bills. They can be found at the HDR you just have to learn how to spot them amongst all the familiar faces..
You can meet some decent women through certain cabbies but be careful, what they're doing could be borderline legal. From what I've seen most of them would rather not be seen near the gulch or in the BM and are usually students or have a real job. Best to just set up a meeting for dinner or a drink and take it from there. An amigo met some really nice ones this way and considered it much more "romantic" like having real dates and more GFE, but don't become disillusioned- they are still getting paid for their time so it is what it is.

There are a lot of chicas in San Jose who are willing to sleep with you for money but would not be seen in the Del Rey. You can't blame them when they work 45 hours a week for $60 salary I think this is the difference between putas in CR and the US. The CR chicas options are much more limited in ways to make money and pay for colllege( there are no pell grants or easily obtained college loans in CR)
