LaDiablo, Having met you and "her" Saturday night I can see how you fell into this mess. Having just finally gotten rid of my "mess" (atleast I hope), I can sympathize with you and know how hard it is even when you know you are being lied to and played. These girls are masters at playing us even when we know the game. I really believe that they cannot resist doing it even when they really do care for a guy. I really admire you for having the guts to tell your story here. I know I would never flame you and doubt if any but the most cold hearted would.

Sure, you fell for her, that has happened to most of us that have spent a significant amount of time doing this at least once. The key is that you didn't let your feelings control your actions. You never did the WU thing. You bought her a few gifts, but so what? Hell, I can't believe you got her to give you back the laptop !

I hope the guy who married her is doing ok and that he can brake cleanly from her grips.

No flames here either. I really appreciate both your ability to examine the whole situation from a distance and then report so honestly to us.

I'm pretty cynical, but I came fairly close to jumping off that diving board last September. Even when one knows the game, sometimes it's very hard not to get drawn into it. Once you're in the midst of the B.S., it gets tougher and tougher to get out gracefully.

I hope newbies read this entire series of reports and learn. Thanks again for your candor. Saludos.
