Gentlemen,

I have recently been amazed at the number of posts regarding the behavior of Ticas, putas, and women in general, that "end badly" as some are saying. I may have some insight for you all. I have been trained as a biologist and have worked for the feds, as well as 2 states and private firms doing research on genetics, evolutionary biology, and population dynamics. I am not tops in the field but I am quite familiar with the vast amount of recent research on human behavior. So I'll give you guys the short course on why women do the sheet they do...

Why did sex get created in the first place, anyway?

Believe it or not, sex was created by natural selection, the process by which species that are "more fit" survive, and those that are not, go extinct, as Charles Darwin pointed out in his landmark book. Nobody knows for sure why members of the same species started exchanging DNA, but the best theory going is the "Red Queen" explanation of why sex was invented by species of life on earth. In fact, some bacteria have sex in which they exchange DNA with each other, which suggests that sex has been around for a very long time in the evolutionary labratory.

The "Red Queen" name comes from the book Alice in Wonderland which has a great story about the Red Queen playing a game of tag. Since she is capable of becoming invisible, nobody knows where she is going next. Logically, that means you can not catch someone easily if you don't know where they are going next. Parasites are the most common form of animal species on the earth and represent a significant threat to any lifeform. For example, mosquitos kill over a million people a year by transmitting malaria. It makes sense to give birth to offspring that are resistant to the plasmodium and having sex and having variable genetic stock in your offspring gives you a better chance that some might survive into adulthood. The theory holds that sex evolved as a way of species increasing the chances of their offsprings survival because the genetic variation makes it much more difficult to "catch" them. Believe it or not, men, evolved as just a way to increase variation in offspring. The whole sex process, is nothing more than an attempt to make your Babi*s more fit, and thus survive in a very uncertain world. Sounds crazy, I know, but that is the truth. You are nothing more than a walking sperm pack. Women however, are the life givers. They are the original life form that gives life to life. Many species of plants, animals, fungus, and bacteria have the ability to reproduce by simply cloning themselves. Humans have however, lost that ability. But never forget that a woman is the actual reproductive being. Think of a queen bee. The hive is nothing more than a reproductive queen, and thousands of sterile worker females who are her servants. When the hive needs to reproduce, the queen lays eggs that will produce "drones", or men. Then the new queens fly off and the drones chase them hoping to catch the female, mate and then die. They serve only a single purpose: to fertilize the new queens. I for one, am glad that women give us more opportunities in life.

So you might be thinking "well why the hell does my puta/novia/gringa/wife do the shit she does, goddamnit!"

The short explanation is that she evolved that way, and we helped it. The reason why women are so damn beautiful; is because we selected for it over the past generations. We took care of the beauties who charmed us, and they got our protection, money, food, beads, best cut of mammoth, or whatever. They evolved the ability to get what they needed to survive out of us. All that female behavior that drives us crazy is done simply because it works. Remember; an act of reproduction for a human female is a tremendous committment of time, and body. Getting pregnant, giving birth, and raising a Ch*ld is a hugh amount of work, and risk. None of you guys who have had Ch*ldren deny this, I am sure. That is why women are so selective in their mate choice. An act of reproduction for a man is a quick event. For a woman, it is a life altering experience. It may even kill her. The risks are great for a woman to have sex. Will the man support her? Will he kill her other Ch*ldren? This explains why women always report that the most important thing they look for in a man is financial resources. In fact, most women say that the first thing they look at when they meet a man is his shoes!?! Why is that? Women say that it is the best indicator of a man's potential financial resources. If you want to impress a girl, wear nice shoes. It is the first thing they look at, strangely enough. A woman's life really, is about meeting sexual mates, extracting resources from them, and raising their Ch*ldren. Don't believe me? Just read any woman's magazine on the rack. All they care about is clothing, and makeup (to attract men by appearing younger, and more fertile), sexual health (can't make Babi*s with a messed up sex organ), food (must feed Ch*ldren well to make them healthy), and controlling men using sex. Don't believe me? Next time you see a copy of Cosmopolitan magazine, read the headlines on the cover. Nearly every one of them will deal with those four issues. Funny how this magazine is supposed to be for the single, working girl in modern society. Yet, those issues mattered to women 50,000 years ago, as well as today. They are primary issues to a woman's survival. The worlds oldest profession is thought to be prostitution, interestingly enough. Really, is that a surprise? The first cash exchanged between a man and a woman, I am sure, was for an act of sex. We have all noticed how some women seem to be "naturals" when it comes to being whores. Why not? This relationship has been going on since the dawn of recorded time. In fact, the word "whore" is a very ancient word in the Indoeuropean language family. Originally, it meant "desire", although the meaning has changed somewhat with modern value systems placing a premium on a woman's sexual virtue. That is why I really think the term "working girl" is much more appropriate these days. It is more honest and lacks the moral stigma of the word whore.

So there you have it in a nutshell...

Every woman you meet whether at the Del Rey, or in high school, or at the DMV, is basically the same creature. She is just trying to survive. It isn't easy being a woman, really. I think us guys have it made. We just party our way through life gambling, drinking, watching sports, playing golf, smoking cigars, fishing for bass, whatever. Our needs are minimal compared to a female. So cut them some slack. Treat them nicely. They are a fragile, and sensitive thing. They are just trying to survive, and they are pretty darn helpless. Do you think a pregnant woman could survive without the help of men around them? No way. Primates evolved societies and culture in large part because females need it to survive and raise their Ch*ldren. The institution of marriage, for example, is nothing more than a way of protecting a woman and her Ch*ldren. Men don't need it for anything except for guaranteeing paternity. And it does not work that well for that, obviously. In fact, from a biological standpoint, women have good reasons to cheat. And they do. The more varied your offspring (Red Queen at work again), the more chances that some of them might survive into adulthood. That is why women prefer getting DNA from several different guys over their reproductive lifetime. This is a touchy subject. Most men want to think of women as committed to just us. Fat chance. Genetic studies in the United States have proven that about 20% of the Babi*s born in America, do not belong to the guy who thinks they are the father. Women are sly little she-devils, for sure. Paternity testing has proven this as an undeniable fact.

When your chica acts strange or gives you drama...

She is just testing the water. She is testing your love and committment. After all, any guy who puts up with screaming, crying, and other fem moments, will certainly be willing to put up with a crying infant at 2 AM without killing it. When she asks you "if she is fat", it is nothing more than a committment test. After all, if you really loved her, she reasons, you won't see her as fat. That means you won't leave her either, when she becomes fat with your baby in the oven. Women will always be testing you. Seeing what they can get away with. Always watching you. Ever notice how they seem to know what you are thinking? Evolution again. A female that can read the mind of a male has an advantage over those that cannot. A woman can read a man's facial expressions like a book. Try your best poker face all you want. She knows what you are thinking...

When your chica asks for money...

All she is doing is trying to get money to survive, and to help her offspring survive. It is her DNA talking. If she is lying to you, it is only because she thinks it might help. Don't take it personally. Why do you think the "I need money for school" routine works so well on us??? It is because a woman with education to us, seems to be a better mate. We simply fall into this trap because our DNA tells us an educated woman will make a better mother for our Ch*ldren. The girls know this. That is why they always tell us they need money for cosmetology, massage school, the political science department at the University of Costa Rica, etc.

And when your chica fuckks your brains out...

Be really thankfull. It means she likes your DNA. Even if she is on the pill and you are wearing a condom, she may become pregnant. She has decided that you are decent enough to take that risk. Be happy with that. Yes, she may just be a Del Rey puta, but she is taking some risks. Your cash you are handing her is nothing really, compared to the cost of raising your Ch*ld, should that happen. When a woman lets you enter her vagina: she really is giving you everything she has. Maybe she seems cold and distant, and just professional. But believe me as an evolutionary biologist and a guy who has had many relationships of all types; the woman is really risking everything she has by giving you access to her womb like that. Deep down, she knows it. Her womb and her ova, are the core of her exsistance. She has 3.5 billion base pairs of DNA wrapped up in one of those eggs telling her to do the best she can when choosing a mate. For us, it can be nothing more than a case of wham-bam-thank-you-mam, but trust me, sex for a woman is her central issue. Like a queen bee mating only once, and for life with a single drone, her entire colony depends upon making a good mate choice. Her survival, and that of all her offspring; depend upon her doing well. A man can Phuck thousands of loser females and not lose much in the process. Sperm is cheap. But to a woman, an act of reproduction is her entire world. Respect that space. We can never begin to understand the importance of it to her.

So that is the end of my lecture. I hope you guys learned something from this. Sex, and the female brain is more complicated than you might think, but at the same time, if you see her for what she is i.e. an animal species that is simply trying to survive and reproduce successfully, then you can hopefully understand more of why she does the shit she does. It is just her DNA talking. Survival of the fittest!

Very true. Human evolution does not know that we are in the 21st century. The same forces that drove us 50,00 years ago are driving us now like it or not.
I think the ultimate sucess for a woman from a biological perspective is to marry a nice guy who puts up with her nagging, has financial resources and is not great looking. He makes a good father and is not as likely to wander ( being less than good looking he has fewer options.) This woman phucks a stud on the side to get his good genes but lets the other man raise the K*ds.

The more time I spend in the gulch, the more a realize that these women are just like every other woman. They are just looking for a more immediate pay out. Your essay reinforces what I have been thinking on a gut level for some time.

Yes, these women can be cunning, but show me one that lacks that capacity.

Yes, these women are actresses, but show me one that is not.

I think there are a lot of wrong lessons that are taken out of the gulch by Gringos as evidenced on this board. These women are not that much different than any other women, in fact, I would argue that most of them are on hell of a lot nicer than your average Gringa.

Many of us were relationship challenged before we got to Costa Rica. Why should we expect to be any better at it when we are in foreign country? So we shouldn't be so quick to blame our Latinas when things don't go right for us down here.

I have grown quite fond of a number of these women. Over time my relationships with some have become more and more important to me. I love the fact that I can juggle 2 or 3 of them with out any hassle or judgment. Not only is there no judgment and no hassles, they treat me great and we have great times together. Many of these women are fine people that are 100% devoted to their Ch*ldren and worthy of our respect for the sacrafices they make for their Ch*ldren. I really appreciate having some of them in my life.

I personally think that a lot of animosity that is directed towards these women on this site is misdirected. Things go wrong when Gringos come to Costa Rica with a misaligned set of expectations. It is our fault, not theirs.

bill; that is I make more than $500K per year. That said here's how I
see it. Your offer, from the prospective of a guy like me, is plain and simple a crappy business deal. Here's why. Cutting through all the B.S., what you suggest is a simple trade: you bring your looks to the party and I bring my money. Fine, simple. But here's the rub, your looks will fade and my money will likely continue into perpetuity...in fact, it is very likely
that my income increases but it is an absolute certainty that you won't
be getting any more beautiful!

So, in economic terms you are a depreciating asset and I am an earning
asset. Not only are you a depreciating asset, your depreciation accelerates! Let me explain, you're 25 now and will likely stay pretty
hot for the next 5 years, but less so each year. Then the fade begins in earnest. By 35 stick a fork in you! Like Ahad says, she is really in the hold position and she better get as much as she can for herself and her K*ds because the competition for the gene pool is intense, and a woman without a man to take care of them doesn't thrive, as well as those who have a man who provides. I have argued in other threads Gringos have to stay strong when tested by Latinas. When we buy into their bull shit they loose respect for us and your essay explains this so well.

On a certain level we have failed the test with Gringas. They have taken control of everything and in their DNA this is not what they really want. I have been arguing for this point for a long time, but this is the BEST explanation of this phenomenon I have seen ever. Women deep down inside want to be taken care of. This explains so well why Gringas are so miserable and angry despite the fact that won so much power in our society. Deep down inside, this power over men is not really what they want, because it only serves to demonstrate our lack of strength.
