I certainly have experienced the "teenager" behavior and found the most effective way is to deal with it just like you would with a typical teenager. Most teenage BAD behavior is about seeking to assert control over an otherwise out-of-control life. If you react with anger or frustration nothing good comes of it. And, we all know that arguing with a teenager is like arguing with a drunk gringo.

I've found it helps to teach her more positive ways to get what she wants rather than being a bitch and at the same time made sure that when she was a bitch there was no pay-off from the behavior. BJ's and mustache rides are much more fun than arguing. Now, it's not a perfect solution but it seemed to overcome all but the hormonal required Latina drama. Perhaps this is similar to how some US parents are now beginning to manage their Ch*ldren after they see the Dog Whisperer.
