You could be right, but I would say that you should NEVER underestimate the spitefulness of a women when you are breaking up with them.

For many of us that have been married to a Gringas, they would consider this getting off very, very easy.

I broke it off with a gringa once by leaving a nice note on her bed telling her that I really enjoyed our relationship but I felt it was on the way out and we would be better off going our separate ways. We were never even "official" really, just friendly sex partners.

The next time she saw me, she acted like she wanted to hug me. As I got ready to embrace, she kicked me in the balls. I doubled over for a moment, and she picked up this ornamental clay pipe she had bought in Mexico and smashed it over my head. That sent me stumbling back against the wall and then I saw her coming at me with a heavy glass vase and she hit me in the ribs so hard with it I felt three of them crack (later verified by an X-ray). At this point I was in fear of my life and actually threw her down and put her into a bear hug for about 10 minutes while she tried to bite and scratch me.

If she was a gun owner, I am sure I would not be here today...

Just caught up to this post.

I'm glad your moving on. I have to say I'm at least a little surprised how things unfolded.

You and her were some of the first people I met in CR, and what a great night it was. One thing I'm glad about is you know more Spanish and I'm sure it get's stronger every day. So next time you will be more prepared to sniff out anything that doesnt seem right.

Next time I come down, you and I will pick up some DR cuties and put them through the ringer... :wink:

Not a chance! They have a "nose" for those with their "eyes closed". That's why SJO is not for everyone. You go to "sleep" and you get shot, stabbed, or strangled... sometimes a combination of all three 97.634% of the time... especially if it involves a Parque Morazon "chica" (of course, this is based on no personal knowledge except what Florida has told me.

haha I have learned in the last few years to pick my battles. If it is a large amount of clothes or something you really want to get back, I would just pay the $40 and cut my losses. Just be sure and use that lesson for the future.

Right before I read your post I gave Pro that advice in person (He is temporarily living in the same apt building as I am. If the clothes are worth it pay the $40 and move on, if not leave them. A confrontation here and potential poloce involvement is never a good idea.
