So, I don't guess I'm going to be one of those caballeros en armaduro brillante riding off into the sunset - never to be heard from again.

I'll be back in SJO in two weeks, and two weeks after that... With a trip to the 'Dam over Labor Day. If that's not enough to pull me out of the funk, I don't know what will. By the by, when I posted the other night (earning a serious case of brown bottle flu) I had something interesting happen....
The gringa I've been talking to (an extremely nice girl) showed up outside my door, midnight - in the pouring rain, and rocked my world completely.

I told her I didn't want anything serious - my feet aren't even back on the ground. It was nice to get my mind off of these recent events though. I think I understand more of what happened now. My mom was a stripper, raising 3 K*ds on her own. We were very poor and it was always a struggle. I identified with thus woman - who I still consider very special - but I have to realize you can't fix everything for everyone. As I've seen on the boards, "it is what it is".

Thanks for all of the advice. I'm still pretty embarrassed by the lightning-quick relationship... But it will be ok. Next time, I'll be a little mire seasoned and less likely to make the same mistake. Thanks again!
