Finally read this entire saga, quite a tale. It's amazing they can pull it off so well while looking into your eyes telling those grande white lies, but as TW says they can never keep it going for too long, usually. Unless gringo on the hook is completely oblivious to reality or refuses to look at it, but sooner or later he will see the ugly truth.

I watched a similar drama unfold a few years ago, guy falls for HDR chica, believes her lies, talks marriage, expensive gifts, new tatas, she lied about everything- even her age and # of K*ds she had. Then gets knocked up by a tico novio but says it's gringo's, luckily he knew better and ended it but not before out mucho dinero. Insane gringo behavior IMO, but another poor sap is likely going through the same scenario right now. Last year I saw her at the BM she bragged of currently stringing along 2 gringo novios and 1 local. So pretty to look at but inside such a horrible person, or is she just doing what they do? Regardless I can understand LaDiablo's point of view. Thanks for posting the story.

My girl and I were sitting at the table having dinner with Diablo and Ingid when this all went down. We were pretty uncomfortable sitting dead smack in the middle of this real-life novela. A very tense and uncomfortable situation.

From what I've seen some guys make it so easy, re: the drama I watched she never aggressively "scammed" Mr. gringo, he volunteered for all of it. He bought many things and threw big bucks around and she just took him along for a ride. Sure the lies and RFMs increased but does that make her evil or just a typical pro businesswoman as Thirdworld mentioned? I blame him more than her- he was warned but refused to listen or see the obvious, even she says he was stupid. (no feelings of guilt or lost sleep on her part that's for sure)
Seems the safest bet when getting involved for more than an hour is to expect the dishonesty, drama, other novios in the background and ploys to extract your cash since that is the SOP for many. Someone also mentioned the long-distance relationship factor, who knows what she's up to when you're not around? Probably not sitting home reading her bible.
It all makes me appreciate my mode more, having some regulars while always looking for new talent and not letting any get too close. I've had enough drama and heartache from the non-pros to last a lifetime anyway.

Knowing both of you since this thing of yours started , I was absolutely blown away when you told me what had happened. Seeing you together in Jaco & other places , she had me fooled. I'm not as cynical as Berk (perhaps those who know me might disagree) but when you told me what had happened I was shocked.

What a lot of guys don't seem to understand is that there is a major psychological component to the hooker lifestyle (I'm only speaking of the female side). Sure we have problems too, but lets talk about them.

By nature, women usually try to attract the best male partner available and pretty much stick with him. Okay - there are many exceptions and this could be a generalization. But, my point is that putas need to kind of rewire they way their brains work. For many of them, it is easy, because they have been victims of sexual abuse, and such, and don't have much respect for themselves and ESPECIALLY don't respect men.

Many putas are just really mean/bad people. They HATE men and don't respect themselves, which is why they can turn-off all emotional attachment and spread their legs mutliple times per day with total strangers for pay. On top of that, many are chronic thieves with a whole host of other issues such as drug addiction.

Looking back at my mongering days, I can't tell you how many of these girls have borderline personality disorder. Yep - thats right. Look it up and then decide if you want to form a relationship with one of these girls. With BPD, the girls are completely empty inside. They have dissociated many aspects of their lives, including love and sex. This is due to sexual abuse and/or abandonment. They are suicidal and constantly want to injure themselves. Yep - I met several girls who were cutters. This is also why they don't respect their bodies. They neurotically would enjoy slicing cuts in their arms because that took the "real" pain away. Furthermore, people with BPD are incapable of forming relationships. They view people as nothing more than objects to be used and abused. They go through life hurting people. They lie and steal and have ZERO remorse. They have major problems with outbursts of anger and can act completely inappropriate at times. All of this with zero quilt or remorse.

I think the above paragraph profiles about 50% or more of the girls who work at the HDR. Knowing that, do you still want to do anything but rent them by the hour?
