Since CRT is showing its altruistic side by helping out the orphans, maybe we should start a program to help wayward brothers like Patriot. Maybe a 28 day program ... "Novios anonymous" or something. We really should "give back" and do more for guys like Rolltide, Patriot and others.

How does the story end or is it still ongoing? I think it is pointless KC by the way to tell him not to send money. He already has and states unequivocally that he will again. Patriot --- are you still seeing this girl? Throw us a few more details on your interaction with her. I am interested to see how it ends or dosen't. Oh and good luck and I hope you make it without getting screwed over too bad.

Not trying to put anybody down but just curious. Is it only American guys that fall in love with the hookers and think that the girls love them back. Do European, or other Latin guys get caught up in that or is it mainly US guys that get carried away and all emotional in this scenario and start sending WU's, gifts, paying rent and generally getting taken advantage of?.

I'm really trying to figure out how otherwise rational, intelligent guys get involved in this stuff so often.

In a nutshell... it's simple. They think with their little heads. They are lovelorn fools who have no business in this kind of environment. The gluch is a place that not everyone can handle in a rational manner. Their emotional state is such they cannot seperate reality from playtime. Before they even know it... they are in way over their heads because they never learned to swim.

It is definately not an American only phenomena. In fact, if you go to the Domnican Republic, TONS of German guys have wound up falling for putas (a researcher even wrote a book about it). Same deal for British and Australian guys who go to Thailand. do a google search for "stickman bangkok". His site has a bunch of articles about Europeans, Austrailians and Americans falling for bangkok bargirls, to the point of BUYING THEM HOUSES .

I know there is a British guy MARRIED to a del rey girl and he doesn't know (or want to believe) she is still hooking. I has actually found her in the del rey a few times (I was there for one incident) and she just tells him she is hanging out with friends. How do I know this is bullshit? Because I phucked her the day before and hooked her up with my buddy the day after. I would imagine that some Latinos fall for the same thing as well.

It is still ongoing. I'll be heading down towards the end of March to lay down the ground rules, so to speak, or end it. Depending on the out come no more $$$.

She called me and one of the first questions was when I was coming down.
Too many things are getting to me in this so I am taking control the best any one can with a tica. As far as working the gulch is concerned she knows I'll know if she is at the DR or other popular places. I am sure there are other not so well known spots that she knows of.

She said "she has to see her aunt" sometime around then. Maybe ! I do believe she has some one else she is seeing. If her aunt lives in a certain town I'll know it's BS. Either way there is lots to talk about and work out. I just hope I can get truthful answers from her. Regardless of how much it might hurt, I would rather know the truth than hear the BS.

I can handle the gulch with out problems and have done it before and will do it again. Depending on what happens on this trip will determine what I do in the future.

I was wondering why the change of "heart"?

Why tell her when you are coming down? Why not just give her a surprise visit? For those in love, the surprise of seeing your love would be a great gift. Giving her information that can be used to "work" the time to her favor, does little to helping you get a true answer, IMHO. Is it possible that you really do not want to know the truth? I'm sure that there are times when the fantasy can be worth not wanting to know the reality. From what I have read, the statistical averages are way against you in this pursuit, but that's what was said before the Superbowl this year, and we saw the results of those statistics. I wish you the best.

I, in no way, am trying to bust your b*lls. If I was so cool I would be 60 and traveling 6 hours to phuck young, hot, Latin women. Just limit the amount of information that she can use to deceive you, if that is her intent. If it is love, it will stand all tests.

Having a girlfriend as a hooker... Are we still treating this as a serious subject? Aren't we continuously going through the saga of someone who is trying to polish one into a housewife? Can't they just organize a support group or something? But there will be another one in two weeks, another in April and so on... And someone will come up with multiple scenarios where said hooker can possibly be reformed. I think there should maybe be a psychological evaluation before letting North American males into Costa Rica. Might save some guys a lot of heart ache.

But mine is different!!

I have talked to enough working girls at this point that most of them don't want to be reformed. They enjoy the lifestyle...the hookups, the money, the dressing up, as much as we do.

But some are looking for a husband. Good luck telling the difference.
