Gracias por feedback, the more the better. While there has been plenty of educational posts recently that would fit, I kinda wonder if there would be enough consistent activity in the new section to justify creating it. Would "bundling" another topic in the section like info on moving to & living in CR be a good idea?
-the ups and downs of long term relationships and long term vacations...

...just a thought...

I see where you might be coming from on this...but nahhhh...Novias, gulch romances, etc., deserve their own forum. IMHO, there is enough of this to quickly fill the empty parking spots. Keeping the novia stuff separate, will help cut down on off-topic clutter in the other sub-forums.

The idea of another forum for guys who want to live, or take a sabbatical, in CR is not a bad one...but IMHO, they can already post and read these topics under the existing "General Information", "Security/Scams" and "Outside the Gulch" headers.

Holy crap! That was fast, I guess the poll results are in...

BTW, Admin1 said it's just not feasible to make it VIP only at this time. If you wish to have more privacy with a related thread you'll just have to post it in the vip section.

It wasn't a K-1 Visa... it was a tourist visa. I'm still waiting on the K-1 I-129F. That will be about another month. Oh yeah.... and I asked my wife about you... She said you had the smallest gringo dick she's ever seen...

I know the girls past... big deal... all women Phuck men for money. Some are just smarter about it. income isn't stretched too far either asshole.

oh and yes do add a section for this. I'd be happy to offer my prospective to any members who would like to hear it.

TIP #1 IGNORE ALL THE OTHER MEMBER WHO TELL YOU TO RUN... It's been my experience that these people are wrong. Make the decision for yourself.

Rolltide,

Do keep us updated on the success of your marriage to your prostitute turned wife. How has she been accepted by your family and friends?

Hey RollTide,

Did not know you were still following the board.

Can you give us an update on the business venture you were pursuing in San Jose. Did it work out or did you decide to abandon that and move on to something else?

Woah.... this had me laughing out loud.

6. Creative masturbation techniques, when your hooker-wife decides she doesn't like you anymore

7. A 12-step approach to weening your wife off of her 16 hour per day cartoon routine

8. Conservative hooker fashions that blend well in American society

8.

To me the subtext of the original idea is "looking for a safe place to talk about how you feel" with your brothers. Dr. Phil, Oprah, et. al. have great ratings for a reason. Some people would like to share what is close to their hearts in a safe place. A place where they will not be judged, ridiculed, berated, and insulted. A place where it is really OK to not approach life, love and happiness the same way as others. From reading this thread this is no safe place.

There seems to be an emotional connection forming between me and a chica I met in Key Largo, partying with her friends. She says that she is not a DR chica. She says that she has limited experience at the game. And according to her was put in the hospital by an experience last year. She seems awkward at it, compared to others I've had. But she has many of the standard lines. i.e. no more gringos, money for english language school, etc. I am getting ready to make my sixth trip - not just to see her but get my groove on also. I don't call her my novia because she says I have not asked her. I say I won't ask because she would want me to support her and her Ch*ldren. Which I am not going to do. But yes I do small things for her now and then. I have a belief that she is sizing me up for a long term play. And I am not sure I wouldn't mind that kind of relationship with her. I would love to have an honest conversation about what may be going on with someone who has been there, emotionally and spiritually. I can appreciate Paco's sentiments, but I understand why people would not post such intimacies here.

I'll stay tuned.
