So, I am curious. Are you still gonna pay the 200 a month?

I am assuming you were asking me this question and the answer is:

NOT A SNOW BALLS CHANCE IN HELL IS SHE GOING TO GET ANY $$$ FROM ME :!: :!: :!: :!:

I am actually tempted to send her an email with a cc to her boyfriend asking for a lot of it back. See how she likes the RFMs. ( I've been following Pac55s advice and trying to control myself.) But it would be funny.

Yeah a similar thing almost happened to me with a "non-professional" She started hinting she was prego, but would come out and say she was. She was supposed to have been on an injection type Birth Control, but told me later she didn't have one.

I dumped her right there. I told her if she was prego and it was mine and she could prove we will work something out. If not, so sorry. It was all BS, but it signaled the end of our relationship, May it rest in peace.

I've had two non-pros in CR lie to me and tell me they were prego. What was their motivation? I HAVE NO CLUE. They were simply late and decided to make my life hell for a few weeks. In both cases, it was either "yes she is" and "holy shit what have i got into" or BULLSHIT. Turns out, both were lying for any number of reasons.

They are not all angels. And, they are not all that intelligent.

This brings to mind a cultural difference between anglo and latinos. I'm not saying all latinos ditch their Ch*ldren, however I think it goes back to Spanish rule that this is a fairly common route for men to go. The men are only here to make money (many are bad at this too) and don't give a shit about a long-term family. I think the cultural norm - is that the dad is more likely to ditch in the latino househould. However, for every case like this, I see a great tico dad. I guess if you ask the female side of equation, THE ANSWER IS ALWAYS THE SAME.... men are pigs and NOT RESPONSBILE for their Ch*ldren.... observation with opinion....

So, I think latinas operate under the cultural norm that men are "ditchers". Thus, to lie and say they are pregnant only ruins the relationship, but its an oppty to get the guy to empty his pockets to calm her down. Its not rational. Nor is it intelligent. But, its happened twice to me.

If the woman has ch*ldren after getting married at an appropiate age, chances are that the father would be there to the end, but if she was knocked-up fooling around with the boyfriend, good luck. She knows that she'd be getting the shortest end of the stick, so it's her respossibility to stay safe, but like everywhere, most women are stupid and don't follow daddy's advice "open your eyes and close your legs" and do it the other way around.

Things are changing everywhere, but you can make a father pay, but you can't make him love his unplanned offspring. I know a guy in Cuba who was forced to pay ch*ld support and he never met his ch*ld, not even once, and he lived relatively close.

So because it was unplanned that makes it alright for the Ch*ld to never meet his father? How is that the Ch*ld's fault and why should he have to go through life never meeting his natural farther? Interesting choice of words...forced to pay.. .guess left up to him he would have passed on that responsibility also. What a dirtball that guy is.

ID, I just told that as an example of "you can't make him love his offspring", and I said everything as I know it. As for the rest of your questions, I'm not that person, so I can't answer them. Neither I care about how you feel about the guy, but then again, maybe you even walk on water!

Any reason you decided to ad a gratuitous comment to what up to then was a reasonably intelligent discussion?

I still think your use of the word "forced" is indicative of your feeling on the matter. You may not care about how I feel about that individual but I would like to hear how you feel about him.

ID, are you really so serious about everything? If you'd told me the same thing, I'd just laugh it off. You must put a little humor in your life. I'm here for the good times, not the fights.

The guy in question is a friend of a friend and I've never talked about that matter with him, but when my friend told me about it, I just told him the same thing you said, without the insult, of course.

I used the word forced because he wasn't given the chance of taking the respossibility voluntarily, he was taken to court. If he had been approached and said "no", then the court approach would be appropiate. There's more to the story, but it's better to leave it alone.

Like I said before, I just said it as a way to show that "you can't force the love thing". Do you understand now?

Not making excuses for anyone, but chicas don't help themselves here with their reputations. Working girl or not, most women will eventually use the K*D against you down here. They have a silly temper tantrum and don't allow the K*D to see his dad. They get pissed at you and you can't leave the country without ponying up a years worth of Ch*ld support. Deadbeat dads are a bad thing, but it is deplorable how women will use K*ds down here.

You got that right!!! Its horrible. Women like to threaten men with their K*ds in CR. Because they know the law is on their side. Since this is a monger site, you should know that they are accustomed to completely ditching any notion of family, if they can use the K*D, to make you line-up as they want.

Case in point - you get in an argument which they start (or you start). They call 911. Then you are screwed. This happens all time. And, the women (because they truly are powerless and have few options) will use that snippet to their advantage all the time. You will spend the night in jail, they will have custody and full rights to Ch*ld support ( and alamony if your screwed enough to marry one).

This is life in CR...
