Gee, I wonder why a "working girl" would stop working if she doesn't have money to eat?

Remember, she sold some of her stuff. LOL That's also standard in the RFM repetoire.

lionking .....you are a vet. in the land of pay for play ....i had to go back to see if there was a different lionking...but nope ..its you ..she must be smokin hot to get you even thinking about it...the one time i did send one of them money if phucked up everything and what could of been a sweet girl i would do on most trips turned into me doing my best to keep away from her...as the first time i took her out of the new york bar we had a great time ...and we exchanged e-mails ...after about 2 weeks of writing the hungry K*D stuffed started ...i sent 100.00 it was my choice but what ruined it for me ...was do i get a few free phucks...it was a gift from me ..so nothing has changed ...do i get a cheaper price now ...so since that 1 time i have learned a great lesson...dont send money , dont give out your information to any girl (except your room number ) and if you like them ...keep it as a bussiness and if you want you can enjoy them on your next trip without all the bullshit ...

Sentence structure is different in Spanish. I see alot of consistency in what at first sight, looks like grammatical errors. Then, when they put it through an on-line translator , it comes back looking like that. By the way ... They always throw in the part about not working in delrey anymore , something being stolen , and not having anything to eat. They never just have ONE problem.

I only exchanged email with one tica before. I didn't stay in touch because it sounded even more butchered than that. However she never asked for money and I regret not staying in touch. Sometimes I still think about her because it was the best I ever got.

There's a reason they follow a formula. It's multiple problems, and part of it is that they sell stuff, have hungry K*ds, etc... because otherwise you might be able to offer advice for them.

Example:

"I'm hungry" Response "Well, go work". "I no longer work at the del rey" cuts off that line of thought.

"Someone stole money from me and my cell phone" would bring about the claim "Well, sell some of that nice jewelry i saw you wearing" but they cut that off with "I already sold my stuff".

This is a clear sign they've been through this before, and they already have answers to the questions or answers you might give.

That was the RFM! She's so indirect.... sly...
My thoughts exactly. After calling her yesterday to see whats up (Bash me later I'm not done yet) She has been taken english classes for only a couple months now, she was able to read my email just fine, she also tried her best to write her own but still has problems structuring the sentences.
She said her girlfriend stole $250 and the cell phone last week. I put it point blank, I hope your not looking for Dinero because this bank only does deposits. She has no problem with food,(No K*ds) she can always go to her parents when things get bad. She will still work the DR 1 day a week (Ya Right) till she finds another roommate. Her roommate has quit the DR to move on. Shes really sad because she misses me (My Tongue Obviously).
I've heard all this BS before from a former DR part-timer. Thanks to joining CRT in 2005 I've learned alot from you guys, and I do appreciate your comments and sometimes the bashing, its all good. I'll keep in contact with her if it makes her happy just to hear a friendly voice to comfort her feelings. She never ask for money while talking to her, but I know this could come in the future. The bank will still be closed. Happy Holidays Guys!!!!!

Well, I hate to say it but the RFM was just confirmed per her email. Here it goes.

Merry Christmas to you, Frankly I am no longer tarbajando (Working) so I do not have any money, (Boo-Hoo) that has me very sad but I am looking for a good job. If you can help me with some money agradeceria (Greatly) much what you and I pay you later. Kisses

My reply, Well, I'm sad to that you don't have any money. Is the Delrey closed? Why you no call your Gringo friend Jim? You say, "he get you a VISA next year for you and your 3 girlfriends." I'll be in town on January 31st maybe I see you then. Kisses to you to baby.

She has yet to send her address and is not answering the home phone. :o Like I said before, The bank is closed. :D There is some Gringo named Jim from south Florida that has a Hi5.com page that seems to be well off. He has 100's of CR ladies on his page. She claims next year he's going to bring all of her friends to Disney. Good luck my friend. VISA's are just about impossible to get for tourism out of CR. Maybe he's her pimp? Time to move on. Happy New Years Guy's

Here's one time when Spanish is very useful.

I went with a fairly fresh girl, fairly new to the biz. When we got to my room, I gestured toward my computer and laughing, said....

<translated from the bad Spanish I used at the time>

"I've been laughing about something I read on the Internet. All these silly gringos sending money to prostitutes. How can they be so stupid? The requests for money are always the same...'mama's sick/by's sick/dog's sick...blah blah blah...' or 'somebody stole my money/cellular/jewelry' or 'blah blah blah I can't work in the del Rey anymore.; Don't these silly women know that more and more gringos are learning about their lazy, stupid lies about money? Tell you what my friend, if you want to spend any more time with me and earn good money when I return, don't pull that shit." We then exchanged e-mail addresses.

I think stating expectations up front will cut them off at the pass.

Good advice El C. I've used this same approach over and over and it has been 100 % effective

Hi Old Timers,

Please excuse my ignorance, as I have not yet been to CR.

Are guys actually giving chicas contact info such as home phone #s and addresses in the U.S.? Wow!!!

Ever think they might get a call from a lawyer about their bebe, or am I too paranoid?

Just a couple of thoughts from a guy who knows the value of healthy scepticism

Also, aren't we talking about "negocio" (business)

I have a plumber and an electrician that a periodically use, but I certainly wouldn't give them a check for doing nothing because "things are tough out there"

CdtTom, Please find a good wingman from this board to hang around as you might need some everyday advise. I have learned alot from these other guys and let me tell you, it has saved my ass many times. There's always one girl that seems to latch onto you and gives you the ultimate GFE treatment. That's when you start to think with the wrong head if you know what I mean? As said before on this board, "You can take the girl out of the DelRey, but you can't take the DelRey out of the girl." This is only the second time in 3 years and 15 or so trips that I mistakenly thought that there was some truth in her words. After all, who would have thought an 80lb spinner was that smart. Well, I guess size really doesn't matter!!!
