I only exchanged email with one tica before. I didn't stay in touch because it sounded even more butchered than that. However she never asked for money and I regret not staying in touch. Sometimes I still think about her because it was the best I ever got.

There's a reason they follow a formula. It's multiple problems, and part of it is that they sell stuff, have hungry K*ds, etc... because otherwise you might be able to offer advice for them.

Example:

"I'm hungry" Response "Well, go work". "I no longer work at the del rey" cuts off that line of thought.

"Someone stole money from me and my cell phone" would bring about the claim "Well, sell some of that nice jewelry i saw you wearing" but they cut that off with "I already sold my stuff".

This is a clear sign they've been through this before, and they already have answers to the questions or answers you might give.

My thoughts exactly. After calling her yesterday to see whats up (Bash me later I'm not done yet) She has been taken english classes for only a couple months now, she was able to read my email just fine, she also tried her best to write her own but still has problems structuring the sentences.
She said her girlfriend stole $250 and the cell phone last week. I put it point blank, I hope your not looking for Dinero because this bank only does deposits. She has no problem with food,(No K*ds) she can always go to her parents when things get bad. She will still work the DR 1 day a week (Ya Right) till she finds another roommate. Her roommate has quit the DR to move on. Shes really sad because she misses me (My Tongue Obviously).
I've heard all this BS before from a former DR part-timer. Thanks to joining CRT in 2005 I've learned alot from you guys, and I do appreciate your comments and sometimes the bashing, its all good. I'll keep in contact with her if it makes her happy just to hear a friendly voice to comfort her feelings. She never ask for money while talking to her, but I know this could come in the future. She has yet to send her address and is not answering the home phone. Like I said before, The bank is closed. There is some Gringo named Jim from south Florida that has a Hi5.com page that seems to be well off. He has 100's of CR ladies on his page. She claims next year he's going to bring all of her friends to Disney. Good luck my friend. VISA's are just about impossible to get for tourism out of CR. Maybe he's her pimp? Time to move on. CdtTom, Please find a good wingman from this board to hang around as you might need some everyday advise. I have learned alot from these other guys and let me tell you, it has saved my ass many times. There's always one girl that seems to latch onto you and gives you the ultimate GFE treatment. That's when you start to think with the wrong head if you know what I mean? As said before on this board, "You can take the girl out of the DelRey, but you can't take the DelRey out of the girl." This is only the second time in 3 years and 15 or so trips that I mistakenly thought that there was some truth in her words. After all, who would have thought an 80lb spinner was that smart. Well, I guess size really doesn't matter!!!
