In any event, that makes matters a bit different since you are likely going to want information for the divorce. Although, i don't think it will do you much good.

My understanding is that the courts will generally award the wife half your assets regardless of fault or faithfulness. If all it took was being unfaithful to rob women of their divorce rights, few women in Costa Rica would ever come out in a divorce.

They did recently change the laws though, you no longer have to wait 3 years, and women no longer have to wait 300 days to remarry.

If you married a girl in CR, who you met under P4P context, AND YOU DON'T LIVE HERE. You don't need a PI. You need a good tico lawyer.

Damn! When I see these stories it sure brings back my bullshit story. Mine was different too until she wasn't. Like you other guys who have experienced this guys pain, you just want to grab him and shake him awake, but you know that even your best friend could not get thru to you when you were in SjTicas shoes.

These girls are like crack cocaine. We gringos come down sampling until we get hooked. Inside we know that like crack cocaine she brings nothing really good to our lives and perhaps even destruction if we are not very careful. However, we keep seeing her and convincing ourselves and trying to convince our friends that we can handle it.

The reality is that we gringos are no match for the chica lies. In our world, the outlandish lies are told only with malice. In CR the outlandish lies are told by the chicas without malice and in an unpretentious way. When we don't already know that what she's saying is a complete lie it sounds so very believable. I sometimes wonder if a chica really believes it to be true even when I feel that she should know that I know it to be total bullshit. In my opinion this is the ultimate cultural difference between us that stands in the way of us gringos having a successful long-term relationship with any chica in CR, whether she's a puta or not.

Sjticas, my suggestion to you is if you are in that deep to evaluate the merits and possibilities of just getting the Phuck out of Dodge for a while. At least til you get your cool back. Staying and confronting a chica who has you by the balls only spells trouble for you. The law is stacked against you if you get really mad and blow your cool. It's worse in CR than in the States for you. Just keep in mind Mucho Gusto's line.....NEXT.

I can save you the trouble. If you are not in Costa Rica than I can guarantee you she is phucking someone else. Don't worry about it. If you are looking for or expecting monogamy in Costa Rica you are in the wrong place.

Chances are better than 50/50 that you have a profession girl friend that has 3 or 4 guys on the string just like you.

Think of is like fractional ownership. Honestly, you don't want to be 100% responsible for her anyway.
