239 11th Street

They have an actual address. Not that many taxistas know which is 11th street.

I'll post this now to save someone from typing the inevitable question

# No more than two visitors per room. There is no fee for one visitor in your room.

# If you have two visitors at one time there is a US$ 12 for the second visitor.

Looks like a nice place and reasonable for the suites.

But almost all of them know where Tin Jo is so just tell the taxista restaurante Tin Jo and then two hundred meters north.

Wouldnt 2 hundred meters ( 2 blocks) north of Tin Jo ( Idem) be more or less at the Sleep Inn (Colonial)

Wouldn't you pass by this if you were walking from DelRey to Bar Idem? I looked at the website, but didn't see anything about the # of rooms. Does anyone know? Do they have breakfast or a bar?

Yes you do pass it. From what I read on the site, they have 6 queen room that share a bathroom(s) and two private suites that have everything in them.

Don't remember anything about a breakfast bar from what I read.

I am a friend of the owner, Dennis, and I saw the building before it was purchased. Now, the building has been totally remodeled. Everything is new. The floor tile, bathroom fixtures, bedspread and drapes colors are similar to Hotel Presidente. He has done a great job! Last month I spent five nights in the larger suite. The new large (I thought king size but website says queen size) bed was very comfortable. I think the pillows may be down filled. The kitchen had large refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, and pots and pans/dishes. Bathroom had large shower. Hairdrier was included. The living room area is complete with a wall mounted 32" flat screen TV. Security is good and includes numerous cameras which continually record, in room safe, programable gate and guest room door locks. Also, I understand a nightime security guard starts soon. It is about 3 blocks from the Del Rey. Walk down the hill past Bar New York, past the street Hotel Presidente is on, left at corner of busy street, and look for the flower market. Hotel Freebird is adjacent to it. A good alternative to Hotel Presidente!

Idem is C11, A10 y 8

Tin Jo is C11, A8 y 6

Freebird is C11, A4 y 2

Sleep Inn is A3, C11 y 9

Colonial is A1, C11 y 9

So no 200 meters would not be more or less the Sleep Inn

Sorry did not mean to get you upset. Was just trying to orientate board members to the location.
