I saw that posting on craigslist.org and busted up because it is so outrageously crazy.... like a silly movie is sometimes funny and sometimes just plain stupid but there are those that laugh and those that just walk away.... maybe my mood at 3AM was just plain silly since I, for whatever reason, found this funny.

Ding Dong: I'm not sure why I can't tire of the continuous coverage of a news event that doesn't affect me in the least (I'm in California). Really, the gas prices haven't even went up much in CA because of Rita or Katrina (they were already high). So I imagine myself hearing over and over again all this news on something that affects me none and so I get tired of hearing it. I guess we're lucky it turned out to be somewhat of a dud, not hitting Galveston or Houston, so I wonder if another storm builds up in say 2 weeks and is aimed at G or H if the people will run as they did this time? This goes is what is at the heart of the post that you decided to take a snipplet of - my point was that hurricanes have been a wait and see game all the way up to Katrina because they become duds or they go off the predicted course. There are way more duds than the big destroyers like Katrina so people tend to wait them out, especially since here we go again, Rita was a dud.

Again guys - sorry for this post. I'll be more careful in the future.
