I just finished watching Nightline talk about the boom in real estate. Housing prices in California have doubled in the last 5 years, many other places they've gone up between 50 and 80 percent.
Funny because they are selling homes in BULGARIA for high dollar prices!!!! The Brits are going there to buy. BULGARIA is a dump!

I often wonder how a Costa Rican could ever afford a place to live in Jaco. The prices in Jaco are crazy - I'm waiting to buy the foreclosures in Jaco, because this housing market has to crash eventually. It seems it will be a worldwide crash.
Does anyone think it is getting to the point of it being silly? My salary has went up only 4% in the last year, how can the housing market continue to remain red hot I wonder?
