| I’ve been diving into marketing strategies for watches, and I keep wondering—what’s the most effective way to position a new brand in such a crowded market? Luxury brands have heritage, and tech-driven ones have innovation, but what about a brand that’s somewhere in between? Also, how important is influencer marketing for watches? I see high-end brands working with celebrities, but does it work just as well for mid-range brands with micro-influencers? And when it comes to storytelling, do people actually care about the history of a brand, or is it more about aesthetics and functionality? Would love to hear some thoughts—especially from anyone who has worked in this space! | |

| So, I cannot say for manufacturing or selling, but I do own quite a few watches from Patek to Rolex to Blancpain. I buy on the history and the mechanical art of the watch. I do acquire a fun Timex or Hamilton now and then, but overall I tend to go to pedigree watches that have generational life. For mid-range watches I would say look it critical. It should be something interesting, mechanically advanced and look classic. No research behind this, just knowing when i see a new brand on the market what I look for. | |
