If I had a layover in FLL from 2pm until 9pm, what is there to do? I'm not talking about hookers. I have zero interest in the scene in the US. |

Put your luggage in a locker somewhere. Get a cab to North Miami and spend the late afternoon surveying the scenery at HAULOVER BEACH. Look it up on the internet. |

I was going to suggest the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame in Dania Beach, but I found out that the museum contents are being moved out of Florida. I would suggest a trip to Las Olas or the beach. |

Go to the Hardrock hotel and casino it's right near airport sit by the pool have a drink of a little gambling |

First, get the Uber App. Uber is the best way to get around in your situation. There is a famous seafood place near the airport you can go to for lunch called the Rustic Crabhouse. Fabulous seafood. The Hard Rock Casino is a good choice too is you want to gamble, and there is a Hooters there as well. CRT has had some of our South florida meetings in this Hooters. Ask Mucho Gusto about them The beach is only a 10 - 15 minute ride away by Uber as well (12 dollars mas o menos) Ask the driver to take you to Beach Place. Lots of bars to chill out in. |

Rac, if you are not a gay (north part of beach); or not a naturalist (middle part, and I am and have been there many times); or not with your family (south part of beach), I am not sure I understand what the attraction would be. Believe me, a "gawker" in the northern edge of the family part looking at the nude females is not well received by those females!!! I saw then catch a couple of guys who were under the guard tower taking pictures-they beat the hell out of the two (and rightfully so!!!!). Maybe things have change but that is the way it was last time I was there!!! |
