+1000

I heard some jackass at work complain that he won't buy a certain car make (BMW) because they won't have Apple CarPlay. WTF is this world coming to? Are cars becoming mobile entertainment centers? People will walk around with Iphone, Ipad, Iwatch, get into his car and play with CarPlay.

What's next?

It didn't seem like a bad device, until I found out that you have to have an iphone nearby for it to perform most of its functions. What a piece of junk!

I won't get an Apple watch for 2 reasons: 1) my cell phone gives me accurate time and 2) because I don't want Apple watching me. For those late to the party: http://www.apple.com/watch/

Yes I also think that Apple watch is kinda useless. But many of the devices nowadays are useless. You can do anything with a smartphone but these new gadgets are doing the same thing just with other approach.

Perhaps the iWatch is just not for us old guys, because it just doesn't make sense to us. Maybe it's for the K*ds. After all if a young boy has a toy truck, he still wants a new one. Same with a young girl and her dolls; she always wants a new one. And, when they go somewhere all the trucks and dolls must go too.

I've substantially reduced even wearing a watch since it seems redundant to carry two devices that can tell me what time it is.
