With the exception of the dive site on the sub (in and of itself deep and cold) all the sites mentioned would be classified as cave dives - very dangerous indeed.
Now what is interesting is the National Association of Cave Divers would tell you that anyone trained in cave diving (a long expensive process done well after basic or even advanced open water SCUBA diving training) has never experienced a fatality while cave diving, and all of the deaths that have occoured have been the result of open water divers exceeding their level of training and experience.
I suspect they are probably right - I hate confined spaces, and cave diving scares the hell out of me, even though I have well over 1,000 open water dives.
I thought the link was interesting, Jazz
