These are actual ads published in The Villages (a Florida newspaper).

FOXY LADY:
Sexy, fashion-conscious blue-haired beauty in her 80s. I'm slim, 5'4' (used to be 5'6'). Searching for sharp-looking, sharp-dressing companion.Matching white shoes and belt, a plus.
----------------------------------------------------
LONG-TERM COMMITMENT:
Recent widow who has just buried fourth husband.
Looking for someone to round out a six-unit plot.
Dizziness, fainting, shortness of breath not a problem.
----------------------------------------------------
SERENITY NOW:
I am into solitude, long walks, sunrises, the ocean, yoga, and meditation.
If you are the silent type, let's get together, take our hearing aids out and enjoy quiet times.
----------------------------------------------------
WINNING SMILE:
Active grandmother with original teeth, seeking a dedicated flossier to share rare steaks, corn on the cob and caramel candy.
----------------------------------------------------
MEMORIES:
I can usually remember Monday through Thursday.
If you can remember Friday, Saturday and Sunday, let's put our two heads together.

I'm 60 and plan to retire in CR in 1 to 2 years, depending on finances. For the life of me, I can't get turned on by women 50 and up, even the good looking ones. In fact, even most women 45 and up just don't look good to me. A good friend of mine, she's 65 and knows I'm a "lonely bachelor" when in the USA told me one day that she and her b/f are members of this "meet for lunch club" of singles 60 and up. :|

She told me she had dozens of women my age who would just love to meet me and would I come with them for the next lunch. Her b/f knows I'm a CR ho hound and would have no interest, he's seen the dozens of pictures I have returned home with and heard the stories, he had this smirk on his face when she issued the invite.

I stumbled and fumbled to politely decline, but I was caught off guard by her surprise request and finally just blurted out "No"! He burst out laughing and told her he would explain later and I muttered something about working many hours and not having time "for a relationship" and told her I had a "girlfriend" (I lied) in Costa Rica I'm true to and that's why I come here all the time. :!:

I have tried and tried to like women my own age but just can't do it. After 13 years of visiting CR, it's just what I like

I dated my last gringa in 1998.

My mother once asked me, "Can't you find a woman here?"
I asked her, "Mom, have you ever dated an American woman?"
Of course she replied, "No".
I said, "Well, there ya go".

I've since been married to two Colombianas (at different times). The first one was 15 years younger than me. The second one 23 years younger.
There is just no comparison.

The only reason I date younger women is that I like them juicy ! That's the answer I give when someone
sees me out with a younger woman.

Hell, I quit trying to date women my own age about the time I turned 40! My daughter once asked me "Dad Why don't you at least date women older than me"? My reply: "My dear, don't want to hurt your feelings but!!! WHY THE HELL WOULD I WANT TO DATE AN OLD WOMAN :?:  My daughter was 48 at the time!!!! Needless to say, she did not take to kindly to my response!!! :o

Actually my last wife was 58 when we met (only two years younger than me) We were together 24/7 the first week after meeting and I honestly thought she was about 30! I had been told she was 40 and did not believe it. No one who knew her or had seen her at the time believed she was more than very early 30s. She was the leading skin specialist in Colombia at the time and was her own best advertisement!
