Agreed. And there seems to be more of that lately. They are only shtupping themselves, as the strength of this site are the maps and discounts, available with paid-only. Not to say the 80% of the free Board isn't valuable...but the best stuff remains behind the "flagged" door. Cheap sucks don't rule.

Frankly , I paid four times it's enough for a lifetime membership ..now low status because I had no need to Anne up ...I only view trip,reports around the world ..so now I'm locked out and forced to make a decision or start posting on MN ...the membership is way down here ..it's sinking even more now .. What to do,......

I believe a lot of energy has been drained from here by various Bros running blogs and other sites--that's not a complaint, just a comment. Look at some of the prominent posters from yesteryears (their Profiles) to see what I mean. Again, not a complaint 'cuz I read some of them too and a lot of info and informed opinion to be gained.
