Originally on AMC and now on Netflix. A solid drama about building the Trans-Continental Railway. A brutal task in brutal times by brutal men. No hyper-violence and they keep the softer bits in context and short. Solid production in writing, casting, production values--all that money is on the screen. NB to Canadian Bros: shot entirely in the Calgary, Alberta area. Spend 45 minutes of your time now and then, and get invested.
