If any of you like to read and you want to pick up a great book about a bordello which orbits the Earth, you might try Tales Of The Velvet Comet by Mike Resnick. It's actually a series of four books, but it was bundled up into one nice, neat little package after the series was completed....

Yep... I've always thought that this book would make a great TV series too. You'll never see it happen though. Too may holier than thou types would drop a load in their Lilly white panties if a series about a brothel in space ever came on the boob tube.

Agree 100+ with what you say--but who says it has to be made in the US? Some shadowy investors put up big bucks and hard guarantees (nobody said anything about traceability of the securities, right?) through machinations to get a production going in Somewhere, East Europe. These money-laundering "folks" seek 80% of funds expended to be returned, in a hard currency. Surprise, surprise! Somebody with vision and fortitude is assigned this project as if by a secular miracle and recognizes it as not only a terrific storyline but a career booster-rocket. Go for broke class-production/writing/casting/all the ancillaries "One for the ages, baby, but with this budget...all y'all got to work with me.", says The Mac. ...There's beaucoup Internet channels eager for at least 1 class piece they can show the regulators and assorted prigs....And the band plays on...
I appreciate the opportunity Bro Webbew's mention has brought me to spin the above fantasy.
