A Brazilian court has ruled that 36-year-old female accountant Ana Catarian Bezerra can legally masturbate at work and watch porn on her work computer citing chemical imbalance that triggers severe anxiety and hypersexuality.

Bezerra commented on her condition, "I got so bad I would to masturbate up to 47 times a day," she said. "That's when I asked for help, I knew it wasn't normal."

The court decision gives Bezerra the chance to combine work with pleasure.

However, there is a downside to the ruling as experts say that the woman's performance may suffer because relieving her stress means frequent masturbation translating to frequent "abandoning" of her work station.

To further improve her condition, Bezerra's doctors have her a cocktail of tranquilizers to relieve her from the stress. The medication seems to work as she is now masturbating only about 18 times a day.

Bezerra's case has generated global reaction, including Dr. Carol Queen, resident sexologist for Good Vibrations, a San Francisco-based sex toy shop.

Queens said: "This case is interesting because it shows the difference between Brazilian culture and the U.S. It's unlikely a workplace here would allow her the time to do that, even though practically everyone who has masturbated knows that it relieves tension."
