Timothy Bradley was given an unjustified split decision victory at the MGM Grand tonight to become the fourth man to defeat Manny Pacquiao after seemingly being beaten up by the Filipino for at least eight of the twelve rounds.

The 28 year-old was staggered on four or five occasions in the first six rounds after nicking the first, but in no way did enough to gain anywhere near the scores that two of the three judges gave him.

Bradley did come back into the fight towards the end, but even then, I could only give him one of the last four as Pacquiao continued catch him with the cleaner shots and do more than the American to take the rounds.

An argument could be made on my scorecard to give him the last round after a late flurry by Pacquiao nicked it for me, although that would still give Pacquiao a deserved 117-111 victory to retain the WBO belt.

With two of the judges scoring the bout 115-113 to Bradley and the other giving it the opposite way to Pacquiao, a certain rematch is on the cards for November as predicted by the new champion at the press conference.

WTF?? were those two judges watching a different fight?

WTF!!! How old are the two judges that scored it 115-113 for Bradley? Are they blind? Seriously, you have to wonder how much boxing they have seen in their lives. The 'fix' was in. What does that do for a Manny/Mayweather fight now? The state of boxing has not been good for quite a while now. I still remember the Hagler/Hearns/Leonard bouts. Damn...that was boxing! To say nothing of the heavyweights...Ali, Frazier (RIP), Foreman. Anyone remember Roberto Duran...'hands of stone'.

Stop it Gringotim! I miss those days in boxing. There was always a good fight happening. Didn't see the fight but it seems from what I'm seeing there is no way Pac loses that.

That was not WBO, that was WWE and Vince McMahon was one of the judges.

I have seen a lot fights that I would say were fixed. And this one was one of the worst I have ever seen. I scored it 10 rounds to two rounds Manny. Lederman had it 11 rounds to 1round Manny. I am not sure what fight the judges were watching, but Manny beat up on Bradley round after round. I was going to leave the Lodge as soon as the fight was over because I did not need to see the decision. I guess I did need to see it. If this is what boxing has come to, I am glad I like MMA just as much. You will know the fix was in when you see the line for the rematch. I bet Manny is a HUGE favorite. If he is, you know those scumbags fixed this fight last night. Sick..... :| :| :|
