Saw that video on another forum a few days ago... The conclusion we came to was the guy is either suicidal or just plain nutz... I say he's a little of both...

Is that "new math"? Have any idea of the average speed necessary to cover 25 miles in 6:37 minutes?

perhaps it is supposed to be 25 Kilometers...even then, he would still be moving very quickly...so quick that one would have trouble hitting them with an empty beer can as they sped by...

Yea about 215 MPH

Since the tape shows the time it is obvious the distance stated is incorrect. The only reason I ask is I would really like to know how fast he actually was going. In my mind anything over about 10 MPH, which I am sure he was exceeding by a lot, is suicidal. I see wacko moto drivers in CR everyday but this guy puts them to shame as far as having a death wish.

No new math. 6:37 is how long the video is. You need a BJ. IMO lol

Think you miss the point. Using the numbers you provided (6.37 minutes/25 miles) he would have had to average over 230 miles per hour.   I don't think so.

i see stuff like that everyday in beautiful, downtown SoFla and the tundra environs of beautiful, downtown DC Metro area.....just the other day, I was roaring around the beltway at 90 mph when some crotch rocket passed me at lightning speed and threw an empty beercan at me! and hollered "move over old fart!"......

This video illustrates why one day I got off a motorcycle and never got back on, actually I was ejected. To me, its so addictive to do crazy shit, maybe not like this idiot but in the same ballpark.

I have ridden everything from crotch-rockets to Harleys and everything in between... It's not until you realize your own mortality that maturity kicks in and you say, WTF am I doing...

I had a similar oh-shit moment when riding my GSXR 750 Suzuki on the Blue Ridge Parkway... Rode it home and sold it the next week...

I saw that vid a while back. Just another statistic waiting to happen.

Last winter, I bought an old Gixxer and rebuilt and repainted it as a winter project. First sport bike I ever owned as up until then I had always just owned cruisers and regular street bikes. When I took the Gixxer out for the first time last spring I couldn't believe how powerful the thing was. It was scary fun! My good senses kicked in though and I sold it a month later before I did anything too reckless on it :)

Here's another video of some scary shit on a bike. This guy has big brass balls, that's for sure.

Over the Rohtang pass from Keylong AUG 2010

EDIT: when I first saw this vid, I immediately thought of the bikes in CR lanesplitting on the highway to the airport :)
