Apparently in the US, young women ( under 35) who ae childless are outearning young men in the same demographic. Maybe they should start to pickup a check on dates now and then right?
I believe that the custom of men paying for dates was largely due to the fact that women did not traditionally work. Now they just see it as an automatic perk of being female but since conditions change so should the custom. At the least the automatic expectation of it. I won't hold my breath though.
