I know a lot of you are married. Do you hide your trips from your wife, or does she know? What do you tell her you are doing there?

First and most important...LIE. Never admit anything, even if the evidence if overwhelming...she wants to believe you so LIE it's the best thing for the both of you. Tell her P4P is disgusting, and that is someone's daughter so you could never. Did i mention lie. Have fake photos of fishing trips, zip lines, volcano trips, etc...but save your money and bang as many chicas as humanly possible for the short time you are there. Every man should visit the Del Rey once in their life!

tell her you are going to Medellin, not SJ, all any one has ever wanted (who has never been there) to talk about then is the danger of Columbia.. embellish the danger, add a little orchestration- some 2 part harmony helps also, and then promise to be careful and return safely from your trip.
Then when you return, just say " wow -close calls every where, I can not talk about it, it was so....... '
But write a trip report for us..

IMHO, claiming to have been to a different country than CR might not be such a good idea- wouldn't the visa stamp give you away?

Somebody was telling just last night that there is or was a small photo studio near the Prez that had different backgrounds. You show up with various changes of clothes and get your picture taken with a fishing or rafting or zipline or whatever backdrop--"evidence" of adventuring. Pretty nifty. That kind of thing still happening?

I have also heard of this "place." Can someone verify if it really exists or not. I once saw some kinds holding up snapper for pics in Mercado Central. I thought it was a pretty funny attempt but they were serious.

When I tell somebody I am going to San Jose, they all think the city is on the beach :shock: Really! :lol:

Telling the truth is like launching a missile that must be dealt with. If you admit to your wife or girlfriend that you've been cheating then she MUST do something in return. She might break something or she might get the best attorney in town but anything she does IS NOT going to be good for you.

wow,...When I was married, going to CR, or anywhere alone would have been out of the question. Happily divorced, now ten years, I have no advice,.. :roll: does this qualify as a hijack?
