1) a travel clock, wide up preferred that I could change to run either slower or faster. Say like 75-80 plus minutes to a hour, or 45 to a hour, to fit the girl, I meant need. If this came with a built in cell phone jammer all the better.

2) for restaurants, a small single lens magnifier, that rotates out of small thin case, if it had some sort of small light even better. I think some was selling something like this a few yeas ago on TV.

Due to astigmatism (?) I have a hard time reading the menus in dark restaurants.

The first is for ladies who may have a hard time knowing what 60 minutes is or how to turn off her phone.

any help any one???

Here you go: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4355

Imagine you are banging a chica and answers her phone, so you excuse yourself to the bathroom where the jammer is hidden. You turn it on and her signal goes dead. Watching her trying to get her call back would be worth the $25 on its own.

Or just turn it on before she gets there. (But wait till she at the door to turn it on, in case she tries to call you, your phone won't work either. )

I have the one listed above and it works... sometimes don't know why, I am thinking of upgrading to the 150 version, I hate cell phone interruptions.

close, but I had a flat one before and discovered the do not bend very well , I was looking more like a round one, size maybe a a large coin, and rotated out out from a case. So carry it be like a just a big coin, The light would be a bonus, lighters will always do in a pinch. I had one years ago, like the 70's,

Not comments on a clock made to run slower???

But thanks for the ideas

Interesting Xman, I didn't know that astigmatism is what causes not being able to read well in a dark restaurant. I don't need glasses to read and have no trouble with fairly small print when there is light. But I have a hell of a time in the dark...

I do not know if astigmatism can be blamed for my problems in reading in low light ( small print) maybe something else that I do not know about could be the cause , but as my astigmatism gets worse I need more light for me. This may not hold true for others, but it is for me,
Last vision test I came in around 21-23/20 clear as a bell, all I need is that dam magnifier and the price at Wally world went up to 20 bucks a pair from $7-9 in a year. good part is now my custom fitted shooting glasses ( $200+) now work for reading and fine shop work

This is very troubling for me, as my night vision far and up close used to be far superior to most people, now I can see great at a distance( (1.5 ft to unlimited) at night fine, but restaurant, it is like I am 5 year and some one is reading me the menu.

I purchased the above. I have not taken it out of the country yet.
I think I should have paid closer attention to the bands it blocks.

When I received it I tried it on my phone, T-Mobile (1800Mhz GSM) and it did not work.
Looking at the phone...it blocks the following bands:
(GSM 930Mhz~960Mhz/CDMA 870Mhz~880Mhz/DCS 1805Mhz~1920Mhz)
I do not know what DCS is.

Costa Rica uses 900 Mhz GSM, so I guess it should work.

noq

There is a basic wind up alarm clock that has a fast slow adjustment on the back.

I doubt if you could make more than a 5 minute error in 1 hour.

Oh, yeah, like I really believe you want to trick the girl into leaving early.

I found the exact one I wanted, but I have to join "their club" and they will then decide if I am" worthy" enough to purchase the item, so screw them I moved on and found this site

http://www.debspecs.com/Low_Vision_Aids ... 5wodezqQcg

they have several different items that seem that would do for easy to carry and could be used in restaurants, from $2 to 15$ I going to buy some different ones and try them out. Some with lights and some with out. :D

But have not found the clock yet
