Well, General Al from Quantum Leap (played brilliantly by Dean Stockwell) sure gets my vote. An out-there monger, thwacking big cigars and truly outrageous clothes--what's not to like? Who're your candidates?
BTW Errol Flynn is off the table--his screen portrayals closely paralleled his life--including that statutory rape bust. And Fatty Arbuckle and others of that ilk and era lived the life but didn't portray it on screen--at least I don't remember seeing those interesting uses of Coke bottles after the Hayes Office clamped down.

James Kirk, intergalactic monger, always had the best gotta go excuse, "The Enterprise"

There was one show that always bothered me.

I Dream of Jeanie, Tony Nelson could have had her change into any chica. Plus, the "Yes Master" means it's all a go.

Simpler, they may just want men to think they are as perfect as they want to appear to them, trying to hide what they consider to be the ugly truth about themselves. And I may be reading more into it than is there, but I do believe they consider the basis of the lies to be justified."

Riker from Star Trek TNG. He was the only cast member of that series to get serious play. Not close to James T. Kirk however who was the ultimate monger since he banged alien chicks.

Shatner as "Denny Crane" in Boston Legal does Jim Kirk proud.

Of course there's that real-life tube-jockey Neil Patrick Harris' character Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother.

But I have to agree, Charlie Harper just for his black book and comments like "Jade or Jasmine, something like that. I ordered Asian."

Packers WR James Lofton-- 2 not one but 2 rape charges filed against him. Both were the same, out partying with Edie lee Ivery, lady spots him, makes move on him, gives them blow job/ quickie, goes home and brags about it to brother/girl friends, Brother/husband finds out/ hits him for big bucks or they go to DA, Lofton does not pay, they go to DA. Every one goes to court and exchanges stories for the jury/ jury believes Lofton after witness back him on events and money grab attempt.

Lofton and Ivery both were married
