The Big Chill gets my vote. If you liked it the first time around, look for the 15th Anniversary Edition with a great documentary on the making of...with Kasdan and the actors talking about what it meant to each of them...then watch the movie again. Superior entertainment with no heavy moralizing. Of course if somebody has another candidate, please tell us about it. |

To answer my own question--"Fast Times at Ridgemont High" Why is that so many good (not all but a goodly %) of ensemble movies star folks at the beginning of their careers? A discerning eye by the director/ casting director combined with economics, I'm guessing. But Hey! Keep'm coming. |
