San Jose, CR— CRT Experts Laboratory scientists overseeing the ongoing Columbian Exploration Rover Mission said Monday that the CRT Robot Monger Module latest transmissions could indicate a growing resentment of Columbia.

" The CRT Robot Monger Module has been displaying some anomalous behavior," said CRT Project Managers , who noted the Robot Module’s unsuccessful attempts to flip itself over and otherwise damage its scientific instruments. "And the thousand or so daily messages of 'STILL NO DECENT LITTLE DARLINGS' really point to a crisis of purpose."

The "robot monger," as CRT Experts describes the module, nicknamed Fool Slayer, has been operating independently for over 990 Columbian vacation weeks—nearly the equivalent of 1000 Gringo years. However, scientists estimate that, in recent weeks, Fool Slayer has been functioning on the level of a robot monger who has been in Columbia for approximately 6,000 Gringo years.

According to CRT Experts, Fool Slayer was operating normally until the onset of the Columbian winter, whose shorter days and frigid temperatures typically mean a slower pace for exploratory mongers. "We began getting the occasional transmission along the lines of 'ANOTHER LITTLE DARLING SAMPLE OF THE EXACT SAME PRICE AS THE LAST ONE,'" CRT Project Mangers said, "Most of the time, he’d power down and not transmit much of anything, which, at the time, didn't particularly concern us."

But as the winter lingered, Fool Slayer began producing thousands of pages of sometimes rambling and dubious data, ranging from complaints that Columbia was made up almost entirely of the same Little Darlings, to long-winded rants questioning the exorbitant cost and scientific relevance of the mission.

"Granted, Fool Slayer has been extraordinarily useful to our work," Callas said. "Last week, however, we received three straight days of images of the same Little Darling with the message 'HAPPY NOW?'"

CRT Mission Project Experts say that Fool Slayer will often roll into a Low Rent MP and out the back door for no apparent reason, missing "countless" potential opportunities for scientific discovery.

"Once, when we radioed him to please leave the lecturing and hypothesis-making to the mission project team, he responded by forming his robotic arm into an obscene gesture," CRT Experts Managers said. "That arm contains a state-of-the-art cienometer meant to provide crucial Little Darling data."

Project organizers said the most distressing instance of erratic behavior occurred last week, when images from the Columbian Reconnaissance Orbiter revealed that Fool Slayer had scrawled the message 'PHUCK COLUMBIA' in the thick jungles that gives the country its characteristic green color.

"The orbiting Columbian Odyssey has cut off transmissions from Fool Slayer, which seems to envy the craft's ability to fly freely around in space," Banerdt said. "Similarly, data suggests Fool Slayer is convinced that [brother robot monger] Opportunity has found some smoking hot Little Darlings and isn't telling anyone."

Despite these malfunctions, mission leaders remain optimistic that the robot monger will eventually return to full working order.

"Hopefully these malfunctions will straighten themselves out,"

"In the meantime, we'll simply have to try to glean what usable data we can from such postings as 'OVERPRICED COLUMBIAN-ROOMBA AWAITING MORE BULLSHIT ORDERS.'"

CRT Experts remain optimistic that the robot monger will remain at least partially operational for the foreseeable future. However, because of the Fool Slayer’s recent proclivity toward ramming into 4x4 Little Darlings at full speed, its 1.5 inch needle dick has been disabled so the robot monger is unable to terminate the mission prematurely.
