I'm the last MOFO to ever be confused with liking pop music but for some unknown reason I started watching American Idol. Although much of what they put on is no better than a lounge act in AC or Vegas and many are just bad Karoke singers, I am hooked on this stupid phucking show.

Anyway Dam that Crystal Bowersox is good even if they put a ton of make up on her to try to make her look better she is dam ugly.

For some reason though Lacey Brown turns me on and her Pat Benetar look LOL...

I've been fan since day one, but I'm watching less and less this season. The only two who seem to have hopes of a career are Lily and Crystal; none of the guys seem to have a hope. But all in all, the talent pool seems to be pretty thin this year. There are no breakout stars this year. Usually I can spot the #1 and #2 before they get to the top twelve, but damn, lots of wannabees this year. Plus it's just not the same without Paula,and once Simon is gone, I am too. Ellen Degeneres? I've never understood her appeal, and she's never made me laugh, much less grin.

Years ago it was one of the first shows I watched in HD.. Soon after I purchased a DLP flat screen and thought Idol looked particularly nice. I think it was Carrie Underwood that won that year, also a nice sight in HD So I've watched it ever since then, although I'm disappointed with the talent this year. The show won't be the same once Simon leaves though..

I was shocked that Lilly got voted off, but she was kind of an offbeat, independent type singer, so not really poppy and peppy enough to get millions of tweeners to text hundreds of votes each for her.

I admit,I watch it too.But voting the Lilly girl off just shows that the majority of voters are small girls I guess.

Crystal and Didi are my favorite two..but I generally don't like the generic ones the judges like.

Pretty slim pickin's this year though for sure.I am not a fan of any of the guys,and to be honest,that guy that plays the blues(the taller blonde one),is pretty generic as well...he stands out a bit in that company of "singers",but they keep comparing him to Stevie Ray,and that is the biggest joke I have ever heard...maybe he could be said to be a potential Kenny Wayne Shepard..someday..once he gets over his stage nerves.But SRV was arguably the most talented Bluesman to ever come out of Texas..I can't think of a better live performer...

I have watched almost every episode (kind of embarrassed to admit!) since the show began way back. I though am almost done. I HATE Ellen. She is not funny, lacks knowledge to give advice to singers, and now Simon is leaving. With that said this will be my last season. Enjoyed watching over the years. This though, is the worst year yet for the show, as well as the lack of talent. KGK

Nothing wrong with a little entertainment 2 nights aweek. I've watched it since season 1. Crystal and Katie will come done to the wire. Crystal being the hillbilly white trash girl with a great voice but ugly as sin and Katie the home girl thats been singing since she was 5 will be the runner up. However there are 2 guys that may spit this duo up just can't remember there names right now. lol Ellen wasn't a good pick for the show in my opinion, Kara has looks but something erks me about her, oh ya she's a bitch. Once Simon goes the shows over in my mind.

I gotta say...i'm with LinoKing in that I like Ellen on the show. She is funny and she kinda gives a normal fan's prespective. What the hell does Randy Jackson add? "It was kinda just aiight for me ya know dawg? It was kinda pitchy whateva whateva..." He says the same 4 things over and over.

Cara..ehh..she has a few hot moments.

And the show will officially "jump the shark" when/if Simon leaves.

And if you watch this show WITHOUT DVR, you are insane. There is way too much nonsense coming out of Ryan Seacrest to listen to him!!

I always DVR this show so when they're babbling inane stuff or doing in-program Ford Focus commericals I can skip that stuff.

I think the two best are Crystal and Siobhan. Crystal doesn't seem ugly as sin to me, I'd spend the afternoon and a TLN with either her of Siobhan in a heartbeat. I think Katie is pretty good, but not good enough to go down to the wire. And once they get down to the top 6, count me shocked shitless if there is more than one guy still left - the male talent this year is pretty low.

Am I the only one that thought that Doogie Howser was a great guest judge in the preliminary auditions?

I don't have a problem with Ellen.She amuses me.I also find Crystal attractive..not at first,but her "realness" appeals to me,I guess.

I'd have to agree. Crystal looks like a great date. Play me a few sets, have a few shots and beers with ya, sing one more drunken song, then take you back to her place and f**k the living hell outta ya.

With that said 11 Left but they can end the competition now Mama Sox is heads and shoulders above the other rag tags left and what is up with Siophan and that cat screech at the end. Does she think that is good or something.

You can end it now Mama Sox in a walk unless the fix is in as she is so much better than the rest.

Bring back Lacey at least she looked good.

Doogie should replace Simon, if he really does leave the show.
