But Brother GringoTim: that makes the rest of us look like geniuses, when in truth I only personally only rise to mediocre...It's all good. I agree that show is dumb as a box of rocks--not all that far from the reality, having been to the Jersey shore.

The show is freakin hilarious. Is it mouth-droppingly stupid? Of course it is...DUH...that is the allure. It is a huge hit in it's target audience. And look what it is doing for the tanning salon business

Just to set the record straight. I live on the Jersey shore. Born and raised. The people on the show are from Staten Island N.Y. I do not even know anyone who is that stupid. Must be the seepage into the water system from all of the dumps on Staten Island. Bon Jovi and Springstein were born and raised and still live on the Jersey Shore.

You aren't implying that everyone is like Bon Jovi and Bruce on the Shore are ya? Those morons from the show were fighting with other morons in those bars, and I can't imagine EVERYONE was from Staten Island
