A perfect example of how lame the BCS rankings are. #3 Cincinnati #5 Florida. The score tells the true rankings of these two teams.

The BCS is indeed a joke. The only major college sport without a playoff system. Why not have the top eight (or 16?) teams in a playoff? All of these bowls are ridiculous! Other than perhaps three or four of the games, the only people interested are the alumni of the schools involved. How ridiculous is it to have teams with 7-7 records in bowl games?! Really, Cincinnati didn't belong on the same field as the Gators! Ridiculous!

It seems lately the SEC Championship Game is the true national championship and everything after is just pomp and circumstance.

dinero is king.. they won't stop with all the big money that they make.. less interest in playoffs when they have a system that makes tons of dinero as is...

Not to mention, ID, that is the 2nd year in a row the 'Natti has been run out of the building, as they were drubbed by Va Tech in the OB last year!

Sorry but the Big Least has to come out of the BCS.

The hope for a playoff rests with the mothership (as Dan Patrick calls ESPN). Now that they take over the BCS games, there is at least some hope they can work SOMETHING out.

Cariden....I used to buy the money excuse, but think about how much money gets generated for an 8 team playoff!!!!!!!

FSU would have put up a better game and being bobby's last game, they might have even won.

it would have been as good as the game with him coaching against his old team being coached by one of his former players at WVU.

it'll be a while before the state of florida has another coach like bowden or a quarterback like tebow.

Cincinnatti had zero chance in that game. Their high ranking was definitely fraudulent, they have no defense. They got into a shootout earlier with Uconn, final score was something like 45-43, then got into another one with Pitt and barely won that game too. And Notre Dame wanted Brian Kelly? They already had an offensive-genius coach with no defense. Then they get Florida, Tebow's last game, then it became Urban Meyer's possible last game as well. Cincinnatti's fate was sealed at that point, Florida was going to roll them big-time.
