That was some of the worst turf I've ever seen for a major sports contest. Closely resembled a cow pasture. Ask that Miami player that went down what he thinks of it. Somebody needs taking to the woodshed for it.

What was really funny was seeing the Miami players in long sleeves and with the heaters going on the bench, and it was, what, in the upper 50'S?. What a bunch of wimps, not exactly "The U" of old.

Guess you guys never lived for a couple of years in a warm climate. When I came to Miami from New Jersey I was amazed when the first cold snap hit. It was in January and he temperature "plunge" all the way down to 50. I felt fine having been there only 5 months but I saw people with wool caps, scarfs, gloves and heavy coats walking around.

A few years later I felt that way when the temperature went into the 40's. When I lived in NJ and sometimes when in late March or early April the temperature hit 60 we walked around in t shirts, washed the car put the top down on the convertible and went for a drive.

The point is once your body becomes acclimated to a temperature it does not take a big swing from what is your norm to make it seem much warmer or colder.

And yes the U of today is a far cry of the U of the past. Some do not think that is a bad thing and that includes the administration who are very happy with the image the new U presents.

Agree with Brother ID. Let's reverse the situation and have the Badgers do some 2-a-day drills in Miami in August--all of that abandoned "Tiger" Gatorade" wouldn't be enough to keep them upright.

I understand the point...but... IT WASN"T THAT FRIGGIN COLD....lol...I don't think the cold had as much to do with it as the Badgers "bulk"...the Badgers simply out muscled them. Offensive line averages about 320 and John Clay looked like he was pushing 270....ouch...

I am a diehard Miami fan and after that pathetic embarrassment of a bowl performance I think everyone associated with the program including the janitors, diving team coach, librarian, and lawn service guys need to be fired. They should have left Randy Shannon in Orlando.

Whoa Brother Reset Button! I understand your ire but--firing the janitors?? You'll be knee-deep in bushwa DIRECTLY--then what do you do? Providing morale-boosting and safety since 5000 B.C.--JANITORS! Touched a nerve yes you did.

Come on you Miami fans..don't panic....you simply played a superior team. Miami will be fine next year. Just avoid the Big Ten teams in the future.
