I recently watched the episode talking about "The U"...

Whether your a fan or not, those were some bad motherfuckers. Its showing again Sat Dec 20th for those who might be interested.

It def leaves you with the feeling that the best football players in the country are in SoFlo...

Great film, indeed. Directed by Billy Corben, who also made "Cocaine Cowboys". I loved Michael Irvin saying "We WERE bad boys!".

Won't ever see another team like that again.

Agreed Cujo...the U was VERY good, as have most of the 30 for 30 films been so far. The one about Jimmy the Greek was excellent, if not dark.

The film just took me back to the 80s, when I WAS a UM fan...of course before I went to another fine State institution to the North in 1990!

They were the original badd asses, but the one guy I NEVER liked was Randall Hill...arms up on a 3 yard out like he just caught the pass to win the Super Bowl...ughhh.

Best parts for me....Uncle Luke admitting to giving out bounty money and food money to the guys. :lol: :lol:

Great times,especially FSU games,the Bowl bar meetup before the game and after...florida afraid to play us....Notre dame crying about running up the score.....those were the day's.....

My father graduated from the U, we watched the show together and he got goosebumps 5 or 6 times.

He told me too bad I wasn't around for those days. He was there when they gave away tickets with a whooper combo at BK :lol:

Great introduction, "What if I told you college football got hit with a decade long Hurricane?" Indeed..... 8)
