Well, I trashed my own Godfather thread, and, with the same buzz, put my thread of the favorite Frank Sinatra song in the VIP section. So, with sound body and partial mind,

Your Favorite Beatles Song!

I have to think about it bcs there are many.

It would be easier to pick my 20 favs.
#1 is "Don't Bother Me" from the first album. I'll have to think about #2.

I was just listening to "Don't Bother Me". It was after "Not a second Time". I have given myself a dilemma. We used to have a Ludwig drumset in the basement and a record (sounds ancient) player (with a cowbell attached to the set). Like I said, it is kind of like a favorita or 20. :D

They were the absolute best. Too many to choose from (ended with a preposition, deal with it).

Across the Universe and In My Life. But you know I liked most of their music. Seeing them on Ed Sullivan for the first time when I was 13 was a very memorable event. 8)

Actually I only came to appreciate The Beatles later. I was more a Rolling Stones kinda guy. That said, "I Saw Her Standing There" and "Twist and Shout" off the first album were so electrifying, so different from the pop pap on the airwaves, that it was a life-changing event.
And from the Stones: "19th Nervous Breakdown" was the first song I heard after Marine boot camp, although "Under my Thumb" has its charms.
