I know there are some serious College Football fanaticos out there.... This is your chance to get on record, BEFORE the season starts and tout which teams you think will comprise the Top 5 at the end of the year, AFTER everything is played and voted..... Winner gets some free rounds at the Super Bowl party ![]() 1. Oklahoma 2. USC 3. Florida 4. Texas 5. LSU |

Don't worry. I grew up around a whole bunch of Irish ND fans. They still can't figure out why no bowl berth with a 3-8 record. ![]() Dean |

Florida Texas Oklahoma USC Ohio State It pains me to put USC fourth, but it could even be worse. They lost their entire defense, they have a new quarterback (which one), and no set running back. Their saving grace is the have one of the best, if not the best, offensive lines in the nation. While the SEC gets most of the national publicity, and rightfully so, it would be nice to see them travel out of the area and play stronger OOC opponents. The Big Ten needs to step it up in the big games. The PAC Ten will be stronger this year with three teams being ranked initially in the top 20. There will be more power running in the Pac Ten this year, with Cal having one of the best runners in the nation. Even though they went 5-0 in bowl games last year there is still an East Coast bias. Boise State should be good again and if they can get past Oregon, they could run the table. Let the games begin................ |

Don't see OU finishing so high now, if UM can beat Free Shoes tonight and start 4-0 (with GA Tech and at Va Tech a very tall order before the Sooners come down to Dade County) it could be a fun football season. This Free Shoes affair is anyon'e gane here in third quarter. |
