And what would you be doing ?? I would rather be either at Papagayo Bay ( Playa Juevos to be specific) in CR with a tomato juice and lime in my hand and some empanadas with gallo pinto next to me, looking out at the Pacific and soaking up some sun OR Bavaria with a cold brew, some spetzle and schnitzel looking out at the Alps. |

I gotta say I'm totally depressed that I'm not at the SL today. I'm hoping that one day this desire to be sitting at that bar with women floating around dissipates. It's really working on me right now. Where would I rather be? SL August 20th isn't coming fast enough!!!! BB |

I'd have to say sitting down by the river in Phnom Penh would be fairly ideal right about now. |

In Carnegie Hall in 1974 when Gerry Mulligan and Chet Baker with a top-notch group of then-young lions were just flat tearing up Mulligan's composition K-4 Pacific--I always did like train songs. Just listening to the recording in my mind makes my teeth sweat--yeah it's that hot and powerful--and I'm that strange. |
